Sanitation (Garbage/Yard Waste)

Effective July 1, 2006, The Town of Wallace has contracted with a private firm to collect all solid waste from residential and commerical customers.  All residential curbside collections will be on Tuesdays and all yard waste will be collected on Thursdays.  All waste must be in the appropiate container and be at curbside by 7 a. m. on Tuesdays for residential pick up and by 7 a.m. on Thursdays for yard waste pick up.  Commerical dumpster service will continue on the current schedule with the exception of the 90 gallon commerical containers that will also be emptied on Tuesdays.

Big Trash Day is held on the 1st Thursday of each quarter. (February, May, August, Novermber)
